The House Of Representatives member representing ideato north and south federal constituency Hon. Ugochinyere Ikeagwuonu (Ikenga Imo) has moved a motion mandating the Federal Road Maintenance Agency and Ministry of works to commence immediate reconstruction and repairs of the delapidated Akokwa -Arondizogu -Okigwe road in Imo state and Oba-Nnewi- Aguata Road in Anambra State. Citing section 14(2) of Nigeria constitution as amended which mandates the Federal Government to ensure security of lives and properties of Nigerians, Ikenga Imo urged the house to view the motion with every sense of seriousness it deserves to reduce the suffering of the people of Akokwa, Arondizogu and Okigwe in Imo state.
The motion was supported by Honorable Uche Elodimuo, representing Nnewi North, Nnewi south and Ekwusigo Federal constituency.
