NAF's Swift Response: Terrorist Kingpin and Five Others Neutralized in Kaduna

A team of Special ü Forces from the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) 413 Force Protection Group has successfully neutralized a notorious terrorist kingpin, Mustapha Abdullahi, and five members of his group in Kaduna State. The operation was carried out following an intelligence report received on August 31, 2024, indicating that the terrorists were sighted near Sabon Gida Forest along Sabon Birni Road in Igabi Local Government Area (LGA) with the intent to harm or kill innocent civilians.

Upon making contact with the terrorists, who were on motorcycles, the Special Forces were met with immediate gunfire. However, the troops responded with superior firepower, eliminating all the terrorists. According to a statement by Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, items recovered from the terrorists included:

- 5 dane guns


- Locally fabricated sub-machine gun


- Live ammunitions


- Assorted charms


- Lighters


- Sim cards


- Phone cases

The statement commended the troops for their efforts to rid Igabi, Birnin Gwari, and environs of criminals and their activities, urging them to intensify their ongoing efforts to safeguard lives and properties.
