On the 7th Month, in the 17th Day of Year 1987, a true man of God, an Apostle of Jesus Christ, late Archbishop MacBenedict Ndubuisi Opara (Bro Ben), an illustrious son of Umuoyo Irete in Owerri-West LGA of Imo State of Nigeria, who was filled with the power of divinity that motivated his spirit to found a church and name it: Holy Ghost Evangelical Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, HOGECC.
Indeed, the establishment of HOGECC could be clearly described as an endless reign of divinity and holiness that “Holy Ghost Evangelical Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, HOGECC”, has marked 36 years from the date of establishment by the founder on July 17th 1987.
The steadfastness of the church has been tagged as wonderful and marvelous in our sights.
Yes, the foundation of HOGECC was laid in good faith by the founder and the assembly was directly linked to heaven in the name of God through his only begotten son, Christ Jesus.
So far, so good, it is always good and it is the best thing to be in God and invest on the Lord as it concerns divinity and humanity.
To God be the glory that our own assembly, “Holy Ghost Evangelical Church of the Lord Jesus Christ,HOGECC”, is now 36 years since the founder, late Apostle-ArchBishop MacBenedict Ndubuisi Opara, solely established the church.
On that day, today, 17th July 1987, Apostle MacBenedict Opara, through the power of the Holy Ghost enthroned a Holy Altar for the seek of Jesus Christ in his father’s house-Umuoyo Irete.
Until his demise, late Apostle-ArchBishop MacBenedict, followed the true way of God.
He was divinely possessed with the power of the Holy Spirit. He prayed the gospel of Jesus Christ and converted so many lost souls to God through the baptism immersion.
Today, July 17th 2023 marked the continues flow and reign of the power of divinity within and around the activities of Holy Ghost Evangelical Church of the Lord Jesus Christ ,HOGECC, Irete-Owerri, as the church has clocked 36 years since it’s foundation in 1987.
Off course, the world especially the tribe of MacBenedict and entire members (worshippers) of HOGECC are happy to celebrate the 36th anniversary of the church of God.
To God be the glory that the eyes of the management and leadership of the church are on the ball to ensure the continues shining of the light of God.
Holy Ghost Evangelical Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, HOGECC, has come to stay.
We are going round the whole world wide preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ for salvation, breakthroughs, prosperity and the kingdom of the Almighty God.
